John 4: 1-11
The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you discover why. Each of us has a story—a divine purpose for which God placed us on this earth. Sometimes, we may not realize it, but if we listen carefully, we will hear the calling within us.
In John 4, we meet the Samaritan woman at the well. She carried a story, one that shaped her actions and led her to the well at an unusual hour. She was constrained by her past, defined by circumstances that made her feel unworthy. But then, she encountered Jesus. That single meeting changed everything. She became the first woman to share the gospel, boldly proclaiming the good news to her people.
Like her, we all have a story that needs to be told. Our words, actions, and even our presence can testify to the goodness of God. Whether we speak or remain silent, our lives should reflect the power of Jesus. We are called to a purpose greater than ourselves.
Yet, too often, fear holds us back. We worry about what others will think or doubt our ability to make a difference. But Jesus is the great redeemer—He transforms stories and changes lives. The greatest story ever told is found in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” This story of love, grace, and redemption is the foundation of our faith.
As believers, let us embrace our purpose and shine our light. Every story that is inspired by the Spirit of God carries life, hope, and transformation. Don’t let fear silence your testimony. Tell the world that Jesus loves them. Let your life be a story that brings hope, healing, and the manifestation of Christ.
Your story matters. Tell it. Let the world see Jesus through you.
